Abby was first introduced to the base in 2022 when she went on a 5-day trip with her troop. Abby returned in 2023 to guide at NLCB and served as the medical officer for both NLCB and Northern Tier in 2024. In the summer of 2025, Abby canoed 1,381 miles from Lake Superior to the Arctic Ocan as part of the Hudson Bay Girls expedition, the first all women crew to publicly paddle the route. Abby currently works as a 911 AEMT and will be attending medical school starting in the fall of 2027. She is very excited to get more involved with NLCBAA!
